Build Your Own Tour
Custom-designed tours are a specialty of Hindriks European Bicycle Tours and a mainstay of our business. We have the experience and expertise to plan, prepare and execute a bicycling trip tailored to your unique specifications, at a reasonable price. You can build your own tour by choosing:
- the participants
- the destination
- the dates
- the duration of the tour
- the mileage
- level of guidance (guided or self-guided)
- level of difficulty (easy, moderate or challenging)

2008 CUSTOM TOURS
Many of our 2008 custom trips are filled, the chart below lists only the custom tours offered for 2008 which are pleased to take some more people, their dates, prices and other information. Click on the link for short trip description or contact us for more details. All dates are arrival and departure dates in Europe.
A few examples of the many custom tours we have hosted:
A group of 30 from a medical clinic tour a different country each year after their annual meeting. They choose to have two vans and two guides, use Hindriks' bicycles, ride an average of 30 miles per day, stay in quality hotels and have all meals prepared. This year they ride on the Peloponessos in Greece.
A California cycling club of 18 recently toured Sicily, all the way from east to west. They requested 14 days, 6 dinners, a support van and driver, and brought their own bicycles. They rode 40-50 miles per day, some big hills, some not too bad. And they loved the countryside scenery, the magnificent Greec temples, the ancient historical towns and the people and the food.
A group of 12 friends and relatives toured Austria from the Alps to Salzburg, with many downhills. They used Hindriks' bicycles, a guide on a bicycle, and van support. Their trip was 12 days, of which the last 3 nights were in Salzburg. 9 dinners were included.
For a trip to be scheduled, only five persons need to have signed up, with one person designated as group organizer. All it takes to get started is an idea for your own seminar/vacation on wheels, family reunion or gathering of friends. Custom tour prices are determined on a case-by-case basis, according to the final number of people in the group, the level of accommodations, and services required.
