Description The trip will take you deep into the Bohemian forest with its wonderful nature and great historical towns. You'll cycle through an unspoiled area consisting of small villages, historical towns, romantic castles, meandering little rivers, woodlands and gently rolling terrain. You start in the middle of the forest close to the Austrian border in a lovely hotel, then cycle to Jindrichuv Hradec, Trebon, Ceske Budejovice and Cesky Krumlov. Castles and breweries are abundant (pilsner beer was invented in the Czech Republic). One of the highlights will be Cesky Krumlov, historical, pretty, charming, even the word entrancing can describe this wonderful last stop on the Bohemian bicycle trip.
Bicycling easy to moderate riding, average 30 to 35 miles per day. One of our staff will bike with you to guide you through the lovely towns and present some of the local history and a support van/driver is also available to assist as needed. Bike rental of 24 speed hybrid bike is included in trip price.
