Custom-designed tours are a specialty of Hindriks European Bicycle Tours and a mainstay of our business. We have the experience and expertise to plan, prepare and execute a bicycling trip tailored to your unique specifications, at a reasonable price. You can build your own tour by choosing:
- the participants
- the destination
- the dates
- the duration of the tour
- the mileage
- level of guidance (guided or self-guided)
- level of difficulty (easy, moderate or challenging)

A few examples of the many custom tours we have hosted:
A group of 30 from a medical clinic tour a different country each year after their annual meeting. They choose to have two vans and two guides, use Hindriks' bicycles, ride an average of 30 miles per day, stay in quality hotels and have all meals prepared. This year they ride in the middle of Germany from the Wartburg castle where Luther translated the bible to Weimar. Enjoying large glasses of beer, bratwurst and good biking along the way.
A California cycling club of 18 recently toured Sicily, all the way from east to west. They requested 14 days, 6 dinners, a support van and driver, and brought their own bicycles. They rode 40-50 miles per day, some big hills, some not too bad. And they loved the countryside scenery, the magnificent Greec temples, the ancient historical towns and the people and the food.
A family of 6 cycled from Frankfurt to Florence, with some transfers in the middle. It took them 25 days, they stayed in Munich and Salzburg and then crossed the Alps. They brought three road bikes and rented two road bikes from us. It was unforgettable.
A group of 35 cycled in Norway, with transfers in and out of Bergen. They cycled along the Hardangerfjord, stayed in luxury hotels, had all dinners included and some picnic lunches. The trip was 10 days with mainly two-night stays, ferry crossing almost every other day, great sightseeing, amazingly friendly people and above, all, unbelievable scenic.
