Covid-19 Protocol

Europe is open for vaccinated people.

At Hindriks, we pledge to create a safe experience for all by practicing good hygiene: washing our hands regularly, covering our mouths while sneezing or coughing, etc.
As you travel abroad, keep in mind these requirements related to the current climate.

Entry policies to European countries and the USA might change at any time. Hindriks Tours will try to inform you, but it your responsibility to follow the guidelines of the CDC and the European country you are visiting.

Before Your Trip - Proof of Vaccination & Boosters:

Hindriks Tours requires all guests to be fully vaccinated. A hard copy, digital copy, or picture of your vaccination card or PCR/antigen test results are accepted. Your destination might require a booster shot. If so, you will need a booster shot as well.

You can send or email a copy of your vaccination card to our office. If you are unable to show proof of vaccination, you cannot join the trip and our standard cancellation policy applies.

Hindriks Tours will not offer reimbursement due to not being vaccinated or not meeting testing requirements. Guides are vaccinated. All guides are required to test one day before the trip starts. Most European countries require a negative PCR or antigen test before boarding. Check with the country of destination and/or airlines.

Staff and In-Country Precautions:

Our staff, local guides and bus drivers are fully vaccinated.

We'll add measures to ensure safe vacationing: smaller tables for meals, masks and hand sanitizer available in the support van, and social distancing whenever necessary. As a group, we'll
follow local guidelines for mask use indoors. Guests and guides will be required to wear face masks in the support van and transfer busses.

Re-Entry to the United States:

Currently, you need have a negative PCR or rapid antigen COVID test taken the day before your travel to the USA.

If you are unable to find testing locally, at-home rapid antigen tests will do if approved by CDC for international travel. We recommend the Abbott’s BinaxNOW COVID-19 Ag Card At-Home Rapid Test Kit - but there are many more.

Testing Positive While Abroad

If someone experiences symptoms on the trip, let the guide know immediately. The symptomatic person will isolate from the group and take a COVID-19 test. If the test is negative, no action will be taken. If the test is positive, the individual and any travel partner(s) (if sharing a room) need to exit the trip.

Extenuating Circumstances

Hindriks Tours may cancel a trip prior to the start date if a travel restriction is put in place that bans or severely impedes travel (e.g., quarantine requirements) due to COVID-19.

If Hindriks Tours determines that the quality of the tour would be negatively impacted due to COVID-19, a full refund will be made. We recommend travel insurance to cover you in case of unforeseen changes in your plans before or during your trip.
